Tricia lives in Marietta, Georgia with her husband Lou, and her little white (I can't believe I own a yappy dog) Lola Belle. George, the enormous orange mutant cat, has joined the family. He is a food-motivated fellow. If he were any bigger, he'd try to eat them. Her two stepsons, Joseph and Robert, make stopovers as well, making sure to keep life an adventure.

The youngest of five children, she spent most of her childhood in the Midwest with brief sojourns to interesting places like Quebec, Canada. When she couldn't get a sibling to play, she invented an imaginary friend who she apparently had for a while according to her mother.

Tricia earned a B.A. in Journalism and Anthropology from Indiana University in Bloomington. After moving to Atlanta in 1992, she obtained her Masters of Education in Communication Disorders from Georgia State University and spent over a  decade working as a Speech-Language Pathologist most recently in the pediatric field treating children on the Autism Spectrum.

Writing has always been a part of her life--like breathing. When she isn't writing short stories or poetry she is working on her Urban Fantasy/Paranormal Mystery series based on Chinese Mythology.  Stay tuned for publication information about her novel, First Born.
